Depression Help – To Bring you Back From the Brink

A Light in the Darkness

Sometimes things just go wrong, sometimes terribly wrong, and you find yourself screaming in that empty room of your subconscious mind trying to find the strength to keep going. As the darkness clouds over you find yourself giving into it, letting it take you where you don’t want to go; a willing slave forced into the shadows when you know you should stay in the light. Sometimes we wake from the madness within and find our bearings to get back to where we were meant to be, but sometimes when we finally do wake, we are too lost and it’s too dark to see. Scrambling through the empty space that depression causes and leaves us helpless and alone, we reach blindly into the darkness only to stumble again as we feel hopelessness creeping in. There is a way out if you can find the lantern to light the way so we can crawl from our dark hole and bask in the light once again knowing that we will be stronger from our journey and able to take on anything.

As we fall into despair we may not even notice the depression symptoms that are slowly chipping away at our sanity and leaving us so frail. We put on the false armor and hide behind the mask afraid that someone may see what lies beneath. It’s ok to let go, to get the help we need. It’s ok to scream out and be heard. It’s ok to want to be free. Depression help is available to pull you from the deep and allow you to see. There’s no need to hide and we can pull ourselves out of the darkness if we try. Push a little harder and you’ll finally see. You are strong enough to endure the pain, to face the darkness on your feet and stand for all that you are with a victory that will be bittersweet, and turn depression into nothing but a memory.
